NewsToday:  Babar Azam idolizes former South African captain AB de Villiers, and he used to practice playing shorts like him after watching him on television.

In an interview with former England captain Nasir Hussain ahead of the Test series against England, Babar Azam stated, "Father plays a significant part in coaching cricket, and my father has always backed me."

Babar stated, "My father used to take me to the ground as a child; my father played an important role in my cricket training; and he used to monitor my performance." He stated that after playing under-19 in Australia, he felt confident of making the Pakistan team.

Babar Azam expressed his enthusiasm for the historic Test series against England and welcomed the English squad to Pakistan. He suggested that English players come here to check out the circumstances and enjoy our hospitality.

It should be mentioned that the English cricket team, which arrived in Islamabad for the Test series, has declared its playing eleven for the Pindi Test after 17 years.
