Chris Hipkins Becomes New Prime Minister of New Zealand After Charismatic Ardern

Newstoday: Chris Hipkins, leader of the labor party announced as new PM of New Zealand after Jacinda Ardern resigned from her position of Prime ministership. Former Covid-19 respondent and Police minister Hipkins at the age of 44 elected as PM till the new elections were announced. Ardern said she cannot have more courage in her hands to lead this country.

Hundreds of people gathered on the grounds of Parliament, with many members of parliament looking emotional. First time in history, the Pacific islander took the position of Prime ministership in a ceremony. Moreover, he announced some new policies to be applied immediately for New Zealanders. Further, he said that: Over the next few weeks, people will be able to see the results of our work program that includes the cost of living. He stated that the policies I would enforce were already specified and would not be made up on the spot. The new general election is coming in October in New Zealand, and he is hopeful for it.
