Court Order 8 Day Physical Remands of Imran Khan in Corruption Case

Newstoday:In the Al-Qadir Trust case, an accountability court settled (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was to an eight-day physical detention at (NAB). Previously, the court ousted Toshakhana as PM in April of last year. Imran Khan came before the justices at Islamabad Police Lines, which was designated as a "one-time dispensation". After the defense and plaintiffs' arguments were completed, Khan appeared in front of the accountability court.

The NAB had first requested for fourteen-day remand the maximum allowed under the law. Rangers seized Khan on Tuesday in connection with the corruption case on the orders of the NAB, an independent anti-graft authority.
