Newtoday: Following the launch of a competitor Twitter app, a thread by Zuckerberg, Elon Musk's firm Twitter threatens them with legal action for stealing the design. They filed a complaint following the introduction of Threads and were labelled as a copycat. The letter, which was provided by a lawyer, accused Meta of using Twitter trade secrets illegally and of stealing intellectual property by employing former Twitter workers to create a copycat programme.
Threads, which was established by Meta's Instagram team, has attracted millions of sign-ups since its inception. According to Meta spokesman Andy Stone, none of the developers on the Threads team were previously employed by Twitter. While Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino has not publicly commented, experts believe Threads might represent a threat to Twitter's dominance. Just in 7 hours, Threads got 10 lakh sign-ups.
