Federal Government Announced Hajj Scheme 2025

Hajj plan

News Today:  The federal cabinet has come up with an approved Hajj plan for 2025. A meeting chaired by PM Shehbaz Sharif announced that 179,210 Pakistani nationals would perform Hajj next year. Policy segregates the Hajj quota. It is evenly distributed between government and private Hajj organizers. According to the sources, the government scheme will proceed with selection through digitized balloting. 1,000 seats will be for hardship cases. Whereas, 300 for laborers and low-income workers registered under the WWF or Employees Old-Age Benefit program.

The road to Mecca service will be open at the international airports of Karachi and Islamabad. The Hajj Group Organizers are bound to sign an agreement with the Ministry of Religious Affairs for secure and seamless service provision. The government will vigilantly monitor the agreement. A special Hajj Management App has been developed for further facilitation and is ready for pilgrims' use. Special training sessions would guide them on how to use the app. It seems the sitting government has fastened its belt to overcome the Hajj challenges and facilitate the Hajjis in a better way.
