Spain Gavi Become Youngest Footballer to Score at FIFA WC

FIFA world cup 2022

NewsToday: Gavi of Spain became the World Cup's second youngest scorer, after only Pele. He had a role in his team's 0-7 victory over Costa Rica last week.

Pele, Brazil's former great footballer, was just 17 years old when he scored his country's first World Cup goal in 1958.

I am grateful for the comments, but I am most grateful that we won the game and performed well; let us go ahead, Gavi said during a press conference.

"Of course, it's an honor to be second on this list, and it makes me very pleased."

Barcelona Gavi became Spain's youngest player two months after his birthdate in November 2021.
