Newstoday: According to Shaza Fatima Khawaja, prime minister assistant for Youth Affairs, the Prime Minister Youth Programme will reinstate the laptop initiative this year. The SAPM stated during a recent news conference that the initiative seeks to distribute 100,000 computers to kids. She expressed sadness over the previous government's decision to end the initiative and emphasised the importance of laptops in allowing adolescents to continue their studies and work remotely amid the COVID-19 epidemic.

The computers supplied by the previous administration, led by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, proved critical in ensuring continuity in the face of adversity. In addition, the government has established the National Innovation Award as part of its attempts to create a startup culture among the youth.. The SAPM emphasized the government's commitment to encouraging young participation in healthy activities. Approximately 54,000 youngsters engaged in various sporting events throughout the last year. Hockey trials were held in twenty-five regions, while volleyball trials were held in twenty-eight. Furthermore, the SAPM stated that registration for football tryouts has begun nationally, allowing young people from all around Pakistan to display their abilities in the sport.
