Gwadar Airport to Get Trees Over 4,300 Acres

Newstoday: New Gawadar International Airport set to become the most suited eco-friendly and sustainable by implementing the Green Coverage set up in accordance Belt sand road initiative. The discsion was made with the collaboration of Gawadar and Oversears port authroities to start this initiative. The first phase will start on upcoming monday with the plantation of trees over 3 kilometer. Whereas the second phaase include developing green eco system over 4,300 acres. Within the Gwadar Port Free Zone, this research centre collaborates with the Central South University of Forestry and the international  China Overseas Port Holding Company Limited, and another chinese company  the Yulin Holding Company Limited.

 Given Gwadar's hot desert climate, low rainfall, and large seasonal temperature changes, the official emphasised the necessity of choosing tropical commercial tree species that can grow in high temperatures, salt and alkali-rich soils, strong winds, and dry circumstances.
