Historic Blow: Pakistan Hits Rock Bottom In ICC Test Ranking

lowest test ranking

News Today:  In nearly 60 years, the green flag hits the lowest test ranking after the shocking fallout against low-ranked Bangladesh with 2-0 results. The International Cricket Council dropped Pakistan from sixth to eighth after losing the series at home to Bangladesh. ICC announced Pakistan dropped to the lowest ranking since 1965. The twelve-team table is followed by Australia at the top then India and England, whereas Bangladesh stands in ninth place in the exclusive rankings.

Unfortunately, there are now no green shirt bowlers ranked in the top 10 list after Shaheen Shah Afridi slipped to 11th from his 9th place before losing against Bangladesh in the recent series. Muhammad Rizwan, the only Pakistani wicketkeeper-batter stands tall in the top 10 batting rankings by ICC, while Babar Azam dropped to 12th place.
