News Today: India won another unique honour of fast batting during the Test match in Kanpur.India scored a total of 383 runs from 312 balls in both innings against Bangladesh and the Indian team averaged 7.36 runs per over in the Kanpur Test.
For the first time in the history of Test cricket, a team has scored runs at an average of more than 7 runs. Earlier, South Africa scored runs at an average of 6.80 against Zimbabwe in 2005.
India set a new record for rapid batting by scoring 50 runs in just three overs in the Kanpur Test . Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma , each scored fifty runs in just 18 balls against Bangladesh.
