Indian Baseball Team Arrive in Pakistan for West Asia Baseball Cup

NewsToday: The Indian baseball team is ready to come to Pakistan to participate in the 15th West Asia Baseball cup after Indians were finally granted visas from Pakistani authorities. 20 members of the Indian team will enter Pakistan through Wagah Border. Before providing the visa to the Indian team, Pakistan interior ministry has given NOC to the Indian delegation. Pakistan will feature the national team from Sri Lanka, Palestine, and Nepal all of which have received visas. According to the sources, the Bangladesh team will arrive in Pakistan through Allama Iqbal Airport, while Nepal will also enter through the Wagah border. PBF President has stated that the international visiting team is a strong baseball team and also the Pakistan team is ranked as the fifth team in Asia. Despite the Pakistani visa and NOC, the Indian team was still not allowed to enter Pakistan.

Despite waiting for more than 4 hours at the Wagah border, the Indian government has not yet given clearance. According to the President of the Baseball Federation, we are in constant contact with the Indian Baseball Federation, hoping that the Indian authorities will give clearance to their team soon. The West Asia Baseball Cup is scheduled for January 27 in Islamabad, where teams from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Palestine, and Nepal have confirmed their participation
