Karachi to Get a Pink Electric Taxi Service Soon for Females Passengers Only

Newstoday: Sindh Minister of Transport Sharjeel Memon has announced to start of an electric service taxi specifically for female passengers residing in Karachi. The color of the taxi will be pink to represent the power of women and also becuase they are for female passengers. Around 200 taxis will be launched in the first phase to check the result of the service, out of which 50 will only be reserved for women.
The minister of transport added that the reason behind starting this initiative is to provide convenient transportation to females for their independent traveling. The fares will be reasonable and less expensive comparing other taxis,, and also enables the use of environmental-friendly transport in Karachi. He further adds that people have been facing transport issues for years, and the fares have increased so much, making people unable to transport long distances.
