Lahore High Court calls for comprehensive reforms to ensure safety of women in shelter homes

News Today: The Lahore High Court has taken a tough stand for the safety of women, ordering the Punjab government to implement comprehensive measures in shelter homes. These include replacing male staff with necessary female staff, forming safety committees, conducting regular inspections and installing CCTV cameras. The court also called for stricter child care regulations by the Child Protection Bureau to ensure the welfare of vulnerable persons in these facilities.
