Maryam Nawaz directed to start free Wi-Fi service at 250 more locations in Lahore

News Today:   Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz directed to start free Wi-Fi service at 250 more places in the provincial capital Lahore.On the instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, "CM Maryam Nawaz Free Wi-Fi" has started in Nankana Sahib after Lahore and Kasur.

During the briefing, it was told that Nankana Sahib includes Masjid Jok, Tehsil Mor Chowk, Kachhari Phatak and Railway Station. More than 25 thousand citizens of Nankana Sahib have benefited from  Maryam Nawaz free Wi-Fi. Citizens of Nankana used 250 GB data from  Maryam Nawaz Free Wi-Fi project.

In the briefing, it was informed that Safe City Free Wi-Fi service is available for public at 10 locations in Kasur, including Free Wi-Fi DHQ Hospital, Women's College, New Bus Terminal, Railway Station, Model Bazar, DC Office, National Bank Chowk. It is available at other places, but on the instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, free Wi-Fi service will be started at 20 more points in Kasur.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that the use of free internet service by more than 5 million citizens in Lahore is a proof of success, Safe Cities will be functional in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Gujranwala very soon.

She further said that Safe City Authority will be established in 18 cities by the end of the year, women and students will also be able to get help in emergency situations from CM Maryam Nawaz free Wi-Fi service.
