NEPRA Approves Additional Charges on Electricity Bills of Rs3.39 per unit

Newstoday: Nepra adds additional charges to the electricity bills for 3.39 per unit. Pakistan is struggling to fulfill the IMF loan program revived. According to reports, the tax would be applied to power bills from March to June 2023. Nepra has also authorized an Rs1.43 per unit premium for the upcoming fiscal year to recoup an additional Rs126 billion from customers. The regulatory authority made this conclusion based on the federal government's application.
