Pakistan is Worst Prepared Team for ODI World Cup 2023, Report

Newstoday: According to statistics, Pakistan is the second-most unprepared side for the ODI World Cup 2023, having played only 23 matches in the previous four years, while India leads the table with 54. While the Men in Green began their ODI World Cup preparations with the first match against New Zealand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been chastised for not giving its players enough ODI experience ahead of the upcoming World Cup.With just 23 One-Day International (ODI) matches played since the 2019 World Cup, Pakistan ranks second among major cricketing nations, with Afghanistan being the only side with less matches.  This lack of practice in the format could be detrimental to the team’s performance in the World Cup, as players may face difficulty in adapting to the ODI format after an extended period of playing primarily T20 cricket.
