Pakistan Railways Increases Ticket Prices by 8% after Petrol Price Hike.

NewsToday: Pakistan railway has finally announced the highest fares because ofthe highest rates of fuel prices. The ministry has announced an increase of 8% in fares that will take effect from tomorrow. The fares will apply to all trains except the green train. Pakistan railway spokesperson said that there is an increase in the diesel price, which also increases fuel use by around Rs 10 million per day.
Last week, Ishaq Dar stated in the press conference that there was a Rs 35 increase in petrol and diesel price. The current price of gasoline is 249/liter, and the cost of diesel is Rs 262/liter. The increase in petrol prices has resulted in price increases for everything in Pakistan. It is difficult for ordinary Pakistani people to fulfill their daily needs from low wages.
