Pakistan Rank 140th Out of 180 Countries Among the Most Corrupt Countries

NewsToday: According to the international corruption Index report of 2023, Pakistan positioned 140th out of 180 in the list of most corrupt countries worldwide.CPI investigated 180 countries and observed according to their measured level of public sector corruption. The group ranked nations from 0 (extremely corrupt) to 100 (least corrupt) (very clean). According to the index, Pakistan stands in 140th number as the most corrupt nation.

Surprisingly, the ratio of corruption increased during the tenure of Prime Minister PTI chairman Imran khan. In the past few years, the record of Pakistan in corruption subject was much better than the present; 27 percent was recorded during the Pakistan people's party in 2012.
