PMC Sets 27 August as Final Date for MDCAT Admission Test 2023

Newstoday: (MDCAT) admission test is an entrance exam administered by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) for those eager to get admission to medical and dental colleges at class of undergraduate level. The exam assesses the knowledge of aspiring medical students in subjects such as English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Typically, the MDCAT exam consists of (MCQs) which is based on computer- format. Candidates' chances of admission into a medical college are determined by their MDCAT test results and other eligibility criteria such as academic qualifications and interviews.

The MDCAT 2023 exam will be held on August 27, 2023, with the same syllabus as the previous year's exam. The merit formula for admission to medical colleges will be based on the candidate's Matric score (10%), Intermediate (FSc) score (40%), and MDCAT score (50%). The exam structure consists of 200 MCQs and a duration of 3.5 hours. To gain admission to a medical college, candidates must score a minimum of 65%, while a minimum of 55% is required for admission to a dental college.
