Prime Minister Ordered to Unblock Wikipedia Immediately

NewsToday: During the conference meeting, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif directed to unblock Wikipedia immediately. Wikipedia must be promptly restored, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz. According to the details, the Prime Minister announced this order on the advice of a three-person ministerial committee. The committee was made to sort out this issue, and the ministers of information, economics, and minister law will handle it.

The prime minister established another committee led by the IT and telecom ministers. In addition, the committee's TORs were published, and the committee will examine the PTA's decision to restrict Wikipedia. The group will also suggest further strategies for removing offensive content from Wikipedia. After the direction of PM Shahbaz Sharif, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has recovered Wikipedia services across the country.
