Prohibition order on increase in semester fees in Federal Urdu University

News Today: The Sindh High Court has issued a restraining order to the university on a petition against the increase in semester fees of various departments of the Federal Urdu University.
An application was filed on behalf of the students in the Sindh High Court against the increase in semester fees in various departments of the Federal Urdu University.
It was stated in the petition that the semester fee of various departments including law department and BA has been increased by 50%, from where will we poor students pay such fees.
During the hearing, the petitioner's lawyer argued in the court that according to the law, the university cannot increase the fee by more than 10 percent annually.
Later, the court issued an injunction to the university on the decision regarding the increase in fees.
