PSL8: Peshawar Zalmi Team Defeated Karachi Kings by 24 Runs in 17th Match

Newstoday: After beating Karachi Kings by 24 runs, Peshawar Zalmi earned fourth place on the points standings. In the 17th match of Pakistan Super League 8 contested in Rawalpindi, Karachi Kings scored 173 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allocated 20 overs. Captain Imad Wasim made 57 runs for the Karachi Kings and returned to the pavilion unbeaten. The wicketkeeper batter got out for 53 runs. Zalmi, Umarzai, Azmatullah, and Aamir Jamal got three wickets each for Peshawar, while Mujeebur Rahman took two.

 Previously, at the request of Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi batted first and scored 197 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Peshawar Zalmi's Rowman Powell scored 64 runs. Haseebullah was bowled out after hitting 50 runs. Tom Koehler-Cadmore had 56 runs, while Amir Jamal had 13 runs. Captain Babar Azam and Haris were both knocked out of the game without their accounts opening. Mohammad Amir grabbed four wickets for the Karachi Kings, while Tabriz Shamsi took one.
