Sindh Govt Announced 6 and 7th March Public Holiday for Hindu Employees Celebrating Holi
- 06, March , 2023

Newstoday: As part of Holi celebrations in Sindh, government employees were granted a two-day holiday. During the occasion of "HOLI" in March 2023, the Sindh Government declares March 6th and 7th, 2023 (Monday and Tuesday) as holidays for the Hindu Community. The Sindh Government issued a notification and sent it to all offices under its administrative authority, including autonomous and semi-autonomous entities, corporations, and other local councils, save those involved in COVID-19 and flood relief tasks.
In Pakistan and across the globe, Hindus celebrate Holi, the Hindu spring festival, with traditional zeal and religious fervor. During Holi, winter ends and spring begins. Colored powder and water are sprayed at one another, dances are performed, and goodies are shared. Water-filled balloons are thrown at each other as they apply "Abeer," or scarlet vermilion powder.
