Suzuki's New Electric Car to Take the Market by Storm with Cultus Price Tag

Newstoday: With looming global energy constraints, the car industry is pursuing a 'Go Green' aim. However, ours is not that country. The yep SUV, an all-electric SUV optimised for urban environments, will be available for purchase in China soon. The SUV's characteristics and pricing range were revealed before to its formal introduction.

The Yep SUV is propelled by a rear-mounted electric engine producing 50 kW (68 hp) and 140 Nm of torque, allowing it to attain a top speed of 100 km/h. Its 28.1 kWh LFP battery delivers a 303-kilometer driving range. This little electric car is similar to the Suzuki Jimny in terms of style and design language. It has two doors and is 600 mm shorter than its gasoline-powered sibling. The Baojun Yep's official inside photographs were just released, displaying its conservative cabin area outfitted with two 10.25-inch displays, seats for four passengers, four USB connections, and four speakers.

Specifications and Features

The SUV has standard equipment like as LED lighting, dual displays, heated front seats, Auto Hold, a battery temperature management system, and a rearview camera. This model of the car provides safety measures which include lane assisting, blind spot, adaptive cruise control and blind monitoring and autonomous emergency braking.

Charging

The ability to charge the car using DC power enables for a 35-minute charging period from 30% to 80%, but charging from 20% to 100% takes 8.5 hours using AC power.

Price

The EV is reasonably priced, starting at Rs. 3.4 million and rising to Rs. 3.8 million, putting it in the same price range as the locally produced Suzuki Cultus. The Baojun Yep is projected to be highly sought after among Chinese automobile consumers due to its enticing features and appealing look.
