News Today: In Sindh, the tax on debit and credit card payments to restaurants and hotels has been increased again.
The tax on card payments was reduced from 15% to 8%, but now the tax on debit and credit card payments to restaurants and hotels has been increased again from 8% to 15%.
According to the Sindh Revenue Board, 58 restaurants and hotels in Karachi have been allowed to deduct 15% service tax from the public Permission is granted.
Sources said that the actual sales or actual income tax was likely to be revealed as most of the restaurant sales were through cards.
