Various sit-ins continue in Karachi, citizens face difficulties

News Today:   Five sit-ins are being held in Karachi under MWM to express solidarity with the victims of Parachinar.

Police are trying to negotiate with the protesters at Kamran Chowrangi, while the protesters refused to end the sit-in and open the road. The road from Kamran Chowrangi to Masamit is closed due to the sit-in.

Police are also trying to negotiate with the protesters in Abbas Town. The road to and from Abbas Town is completely closed for traffic. The police used force to remove the sit-in protesters, after which tension arose in the area.

Due to the sit-in near Safari Park, the road from Karachi University to Nipa is closed, traffic is being run double on the road from Nipa to Karachi University.

The road from MA Jinnah Road to Guru Mandir from Nakhshi Signal has been opened, however, the road from Saddar to Nakhshi is closed, a heavy contingent of police is deployed at Nakhshi Signal.

On the other hand, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that he is not against peaceful sit-ins, the solution to the Parachinar issue must be found in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa itself, the Sindh government has also played a role in the Parachinar issue.

The Chief Minister, while holding a press conference in Thatta, said that sit-ins were held at 12 places in Karachi, now sit-ins are being held at 4 places in Karachi, it remains to be seen how the suffering of the people ends, the remaining sit-ins will also end through negotiations.
