Newstoday: TikTok,a Chinese video-sharing software, has also been banned in Australia due to security concerns. Following the completion of an assessment by the Department of Home Affairs, Prime Minister Tony Blair has agreed to impose a government-wide ban on the use of Tik Tok, according to the Australian media. This week, Australia will declare a ban on the usage of TikTok on government equipment. TikTok was once banned in official devices in the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, Belgium, and the European Commission owing to security concerns. China considers these restrictions to be unjust.
