British Council Announces Scholarships for Women

Newstoday: British Council has launched a scholarship program known as STEM, especially for Women. This brings an amazing opportunity for the women who have degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics which collectively made a word called STEM. The program is to grant scholarship who wants to pursue their master's degree in any science field from any added UK university. The main aim of this is to support women belonging to Turkey, Asia, Brazil, South Asia, East Asia, The western Balkan, Egypt, and Mexico. Applicants can apply to the research and for pursuing Masters's degrees from any prestigious mentioned universities.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Capability to study in the United Kingdom for the academic year beginning September/October 2023 to 2024.

• The financial necessity for assistance must be demonstrated.

• Possession of an undergraduate degree that allows admission to one of the pre-selected postgraduate programs at a UK institution (for Master's level) or completion of all components of a Ph.D. within the previous three years (for Early Academic Fellowships).

• English language proficiency is required for postgraduate study or research in a UK university.

• Active participation in the field via job experience or a demonstrated interest in the selected subject area.

• Deep interest in the selected course of study and a desire to participate as a dedicated British Council scholarship alumnus.

• Ineligible Candidates

• Candidates holding dual citizenship are not eligible for the scholarships. 

• Currently employed in the UK, any government department is not eligible. 

• Having family or any relationships employed on govt as mentioned above institutions.
