India Bans Pakistani Web Series Sevak-The Confession

NewsToday: Pakistani websites, two mobile applications, four social media accounts, and a Pakistani Smart TV app are all to be blocked in India, according to guidelines from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India.

A web series called "Sevak- The Confessions" by a Pakistani Smart TV app was just produced, and a couple of its episodes have stirred up controversy in numerous nations, including India.

The web series aims to present the truth of the crimes against Muslims and Sikhs by the pro-Hindutva government of India and radical groups like the RSS.

The Indian government has now outlawed this smart TV app, branding the web series a plot to undermine Indias security and stability.

It should be mentioned that India has been agitated since the first episode of the Sevak - The Confessions web series was circulated on social media. Important Indian events from 1984 to 2022 are covered in this web series, including the Taj Mahal, the Samjhauta Express attack, the martyrdom of the Babri Masjid, and the violent treatment of Muslims and Sikhs by Hindus extremists. Events and conspiracies to demolish Muslim monuments have been given the form of distinct stories.
