Lahore Qalandars Defeated Multan Sultans by One Run in First PSL-8 Match

Newstoday:Multan Sultans lost against Lahore Qalandars by one run. Multan Sultans chased down 176 runs in the allocated 20 overs during the opening game of the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which was contested at the Multan Cricket Stadium, scoring 174 runs for the loss of six wickets.Multan Sultans captain Muhammad Rizwan hit 75 runs. Kieron Pollard scored 19, David Miller hit 25, and Shaun Masood made 35 runs.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, the captain of the Lahore Qalandars, Haris Rauf, Zaman Khan, and  Hussain Talat each claimed one wicket for their team.On Multan Sultans' invitation, Lahore Qalandars batted first and amassed 175 runs in the allowed 20 overs despite losing 6 wickets. Lahore Qalandars received 66 runs from Fakhar Zaman. Hussain Talat scored 20, Shai Hope scored 19, and Mirza Tahir Baig scored 32 runs.Sikandar Raza scored 19 runs and came back to the pavilion unbeaten.Ahsanullah and Osama Mir grabbed 2,2 wickets for Multan Sultans, but Aqeel Hussain and Shahnawaz Durmani only managed one wicket each.
