NewsToday: China is experiencing an all-time high number of Coronavirus cases, and several additional restrictions have been imposed.

According to Al Jazeera, the Beijing Health Commission documented more than 31,000 new cases in the country in the previous 24 hours. This is the greatest increase since the pandemic's tumultuous early days.

Officials claimed the number of cases was 31,444, significantly more than on April 13, when Shanghai's business center was placed under a two-month lockdown.

Meanwhile, Shanghai has declared that visitors would not be permitted to enter restaurants or stores for five days.
