Newstoday: According to recent reports, Pakistan has only imported around 300,000 phone sets in the last three months. This figure is significantly lower than in previous years, which has sparked concerns among consumers and industry experts alike. While various factors could contribute to this decline, many are pointing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on global supply chains.
Despite this, many are hopeful that the situation will improve in the coming months and that Pakistan's phone industry will continue to thrive. Domestically Pakistan built 2.97 million phones featuring 2G.
