‘Raw Spy’ Remanded To SIU Police Custody

News Today:  An alleged ‘RAW Agent’ was caught by Special Investigation Unit (SIU) from Maripur area, West of Karachi, Sindh a day before. ATC remanded a suspected RAW agent in police custody in a high-profile case about possessing explosive material and illegal weapons. SIU police claimed to have recovered classified documents, illegal dangerous weapons, and explosives from the possession of arrested Muhammad Saleem.

The Investigative Officer brought the alleged RAW spy before the ATC judge, seeking an extension in remand for further investigation. The SIU officials revealed the action led to the seizure of a deadly rocket launcher, hand grenades, several fake service cards, and 9mm pistols. The suspect agent had multiple passports and NICs under different names.

According to evidence-based documents, the suspect traveled to neighbor India several times through Nepal. The RAW operative in Pakistan was busy gathering sensitive data and executing subversive plans. The case has been filed at the SIU police station under the Sindh Arms Act and Anti-Terrorism Act for further legal proceedings.
