Twitter users can edit tweets for up to 60 minutes after posting

Newstoday:  Twitter, the popular social media platform, has recently significantly changed its editing window for tweets. Previously, users were only given a 30-minute window to edit their tweets before they were permanently posted. However, Twitter has now extended this editing window to a full hour, giving users more time to make any necessary changes or corrections to their tweets. While the option to edit tweets for the next 30 minutes has been available for all users, this extended window is exclusively for those who have subscribed to Twitter Blue. It's important to note that the editing feature only applies to original tweets, not replies. This means that users can only edit the tweets they've posted themselves and not any replies to other users' tweets. Interestingly, the ability to edit tweets for 30 minutes after posting was actually introduced before Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter.

Despite this, the feature has remained incredibly popular among users, with many citing it as a key reason for subscribing to Twitter Blue. While the feature is currently only rolling out to a limited number of users, Twitter has announced that it will eventually be made available to the broader subscriber base. This move is likely to entice users further to subscribe to Twitter Blue, as they can benefit from the extended editing window and other exclusive features. Twitter's extension of the editing window for tweets is a welcome change for its users. By giving them more time to make changes to their tweets, the platform is ensuring that its users can post with greater confidence and accuracy.
