Newstoday: In the first two months of 2023, 127,000 Pakistanis fled the country in quest of better economic possibilities elsewhere. According to data collected from Bureau of Emigration round 127,400 Pakistanis left the nation in the first two months, from January to February. According to the data, 52,398 of those who left the nation in January and February were labourers, while 29,989 were drivers. There were also 1,396 engineers, 1,257 auditors, 549 doctors, and 241 educators who departed the country.In all, 61,321 persons moved to Saudi Arabia, 27,501 to the UAE 13,700 to Qatar, and 11,060 to Oman.

It's worth noting that the Department of Emigration & Overseas Employment statistics only applies to persons who have registered with the Bureau. This list excludes those who move overseas for studies or through other means such as straight immigration. Since the Bureau's founding in 1971, more than 10 million emigrants have been provided with abroad employment who have been officially registered with the Department of Emigration & Overseas Employment. In 2015, the greatest number of Pakistanis (946,571) emigrated to work in other countries.
