6.8 Magnitude Earthquake Felt in Various Regions of Tajikistan

Newstoday: In several locations of Tajikistan, there have been earthquakes of magnitude 6.8. The American Geological Survey reports that the depth of the earthquake in Tajikistan was 20 kilometers, and its Richter scale magnitude was 6.8. The Tajikistani region of Alicher is 47 kilometers from the earthquake's epicenter. On the other side, vibrations from an earthquake were also detected in various places in Punjab, KP, and Islamabad, which caused panic among the populace to spread, however, no fatalities were recorded. In addition to this, vibrations from the earthquake were also detected in Kyrgyzstan, China, India, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan.It should be noted that the Meteorological Department had recently predicted the possibility of a significant earthquake in Pakistan and its neighboring nations, and that prediction of a terrible earthquake on February 6, 2023, in Turkey and Syria, was also proven to be accurate, with the number of fatalities exceeding 44,000.
