Newstoday: A significant meeting of the Pakistani election commission was held today on behalf of President Arif Alvi to announce the election dates for the two provinces. According to press reports, President Arif asked that the elections for the provincial assembly of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa take place on April 9. According to a recent source, ECP will evaluate the votes and letter points based on the date of invoking the President's constitutional authority.

According to an ECP spokeswoman, ECP completes its duties in accordance with the constitution, law, and mandate.
