CDA Directed to Construct 2,000 flats for Pakistanis living abroad.

Newstoday: Federal FM Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting at the Finance Division today on (CDA) initiatives for Pakistanis living abroad. The CDA's development programs, notably those for Pakistanis residing abroad, were discussed at the meeting. The CDA has established a number of housing projects for Pakistanis residing overseas, according to the committee. One of these housing complexes, Nilore Heights-I, is approaching completion, and over 6,000 applications for 2000 units have been received from 81 countries. Ishaq Dar stressed the importance of Pakistanis living abroad in the nation's economic and financial progress and directed CDA officials to accelerate development projects for Pakistanis living abroad. The Finance Minister recommended that, for the sale of commercial plots, incentives be offered to investors who pay in US dollars in order to increase foreign exchange reserves.

The Finance Minister also directed CDA officials to maintain a community-friendly and transparent system for shareholders during the buying and selling process by minimizing physical contact between CDA officials and overseas investors and ensuring maximum interaction through the digital platform designed for this purpose.
