Dubai Police Arrange Massive Iftar Meal Campaign During Ramadan

Dubai Police

Newstoday: During the holy month of Ramadan, Dubai Police has established an initiative called 'Ramadan Al Khair,' which aims to provide iftar meals to 11,000 laborers. The program, which attempts to promote compassion, interdependence, and solidarity via humanitarian action, also hopes to educate workers on their rights and obligations, as well as to foster a positive connection between the police and workers by maintaining open communication lines. The campaign will be conducted in both English and Urdu. The reason for including Urdu as one of the languages is that the UAE is home to a huge number of Pakistani workers who transfer billions of dollars back home. Furthermore, the program would raise laborers' knowledge of safety and security. Dubai Police has teamed up with Talabat, a meal delivery service.
