Newstoday: Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his last press conference put out harsh austerity measures on Wednesday as the nation attempted to cut expenditure in the face of severe economic hardship. During a news conference with other government officials, he said that none of the ministers, special assistants, or advisers would get compensation or perks.

"Starting today, the energy saving strategy should be fully executed," he said. If it is not followed, we will be forced to discontinue delivering energy to shopping centers after 8:00 pm.
