FBR Allow Foreigners to Bring their Vehicles in Pakistan for 3 Months

Newstoday: The country's taxman has established a new policy that allows foreign visitors to Pakistan for leisure or business to bring with them automobiles for a three-month period. If the automobiles are held in Pakistan for longer than three months, the foreigners must pay duty and taxes at the current rate. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has prepared the Temporarily Import of Vehicles Amendment Rules, 2023, and has requested that all stakeholders provide their comments objections, and opinions within 15 days. After 15 days, feedback will not be allowed. Following the incorporation of input, the FBR will publish the rules in the gazette.
