Govt is Thinking of Build Plastic Roads in Pakistan to Save Environment

Newstoday: Currently, the use of plastic roads is decreasing yet increasing. For a sustainable and better future in a developing country like Pakistan, it is vital to examine the usage of plastic roadways. Although there are no or few records of purely plastic roads, many countries, including Australia, India, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom, have used technologies that incorporate plastic waste into the road material. It is a low-cost method of fulfilling infrastructure demands while decreasing climate impact. Plastics do not dissolve and leave a carbon footprint, so what better approach to mass recycling than to build infrastructure out of plastic? It is either recycled, burnt, or thrown away. There is now just one plastic road in Pakistan, the first plastic road in Pakistan. It is manufactured on Ataturk Avenue in Islamabad, the country's capital.

Capital Development Authority and Coca-Cola collaborated to make it feasible, paving the path for future plastic road networks. It will benefit the environment while saving millions of rupees.
