Intermediate Exams in Karachi Postponed Due to Cyclone Biperjoy

Newstoday: Due to a high alert issued in Karachi due to cyclone Biperjoy, FBISE announced the postponement of the intermediate exams in Karachi centers. The news was released through an official commissioner statement. Before the statement the exams were made on 15 or 14 june and now it is rescheduled on a later date.In response to the Pakistan Meteorological Department's alert regarding the potential hazards of the cyclone, the Sindh government has taken proactive measures to safeguard public well-being. Consequently, the scheduled examinations slated for the 14th and 15th of June have been postponed to a later date.

It is incumbent upon students, parents, and educational institutions to remain abreast of the latest information concerning the revised examination dates. The Office of the Commissioner and (FBISE) will issue an official communiqué in due course, outlining the new schedule and any supplementary instructions. The Higher Secondary Education Board has opted to defer the question papers, while the Secondary Education Board Karachi has rescheduled papers originally planned for the aforementioned dates. Similarly, the University of Karachi has deferred teaching and examinations earmarked for the 14th of June.
