Islamabad’s Famous IJP Road Gets a New Name

Newstoday: The IJP Road renovation project in Islamabad is almost finished, with a new name given to the road - Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed Road. This decision has received mixed reactions, with some praising the move to honor a great martyr while others expressing concern about the potential difficulties it may cause for new commuters and local businesses. The municipal agency has also decided to construct service lanes on the road to accommodate slow-moving vehicles, which has drawn criticism from some who feel it was a last-minute decision.
Despite these concerns, the project will be completed soon, with the addition of green belts and flowers to beautify the service lanes.The official also said that they will beautify the roads giving them a green appearance to attract the visitors. Their aim is to make Pakistan green and clean and also aiming to end the pollution by recycling the waste materials.
