Jail-Bharo Movement; Shah Mehmood and 81 PTI Leaders Got Arrested

Newstoday:  After the announcement of the Jail Bharo Tehreek, the Punjab government notified the arrest of 81 PTI leaders and workers kept at Kot Lakhpat Jail. According to different sources, more people and PTI leaders would arrest as the movement moves onward. Imran Khan gave a call to Pakistani people to come out for Azadi March. His slogan is to achieve freedom by filling the jails of Pakistan. Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Asad Umar confirmed their arrest with other PTI activists. Section 144 was imposed by the local government to arrest PTI workers and people who are violating the rules of the government. Peshawar DC also imposed section 144 for maintaining Law and order. The senior PTI leaders in Rawalpindi finished registering 500 people in their districts. In the seven National Assembly seats and the 15 Provincial Assembly constituencies, 3,500 and 7,500 PTI employees, respectively, have registered for their own voluntary arrests (PA).

On February 24, the PTI Rawalpindi employees will congregate at Liaquat Bagh to present themselves to the authorities. The PTI leaders in Islamabad finished making plans for the "flood the jails" action.
