Karachi: Police Constable Arrested for Kidnapping Civilian

Newstoday: Korangi police detained the police officer of Sukhan, district Malir, and his associates for allegedly kidnapping a civilian of Darussalam Society. According to media reports, Shehbaz, the proprietor of an auto store in the region, was kidnapped. SSP Korangi Sajid Amir Sadozai revealed that during the operation, police captured the Sukhan police policeman and his three accomplices and seized weapons and automobiles from their possession. Sohail Hassan, a police officer from the Malir, Sukhan police station, and Bilal, a Police Qaumi Razakar (PQR) from the same station, were detained. The third person is a civilian. Sajid Sadozai reported that the showroom owner was abducted on March 7. They requested Rs. 2 million in ransom for his release, but the agreement was reached for Rs. 300,000.
