Mahira Khan wins Best Actress Award at Indian Film Festival for Prince Charming

NewsToday: Mahira Khan, a Pakistani actress, earned the best actress prize at the Indus Valley International Film Festival in India for the short film Prince Charming.

 

According to reports, Sheheryar Munawar, an actor turned filmmaker, made his directorial debut with this 12-minute film last year, which also starred Zahid Ahmed and Mhaire Khan together for the first time on television.

 

She informed the reporters after winning the prize that it is dedicated to all ladies suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. "I am delighted that I played this job; it is one of the finest roles that will linger in my heart forever," Mahira Khan remarked. She also praised her friend Shehrayar for believing in her."

 

The movie shows an unhappy woman who wants to spend her time with her busy husband (Zahid). Interestingly, the perplexity in a relationship is displayed with absolute sensitivity by Shehrayar in the movie.
