Malik Abdul Wali Kakar Appointed by President as Governor of Balochistan

Newstoday: President Arif Alvi was recently appointed by the President of Pakistan, Malik Abdul Wali Kakar, for the post of governor of Balochistan. The decision was made after the advice of the Prime minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, according to article 48(!) and also according to the 101 constitutions. Abdul Wali was formerly appointed as the senior vice president for the national party of Balochistan. Former Balochistan governor named Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha resigned in April last year, only days after a no-confidence vote in the National Assembly removed Prime Minister Imran Khan. As a result of Judge (retd) Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai's resignation, he was appointed governor on July 7, last year.
