Newstoday: A migrant boat sank off the coast of Italy, killing 64 passengers, many of whom were Pakistanis; similarly, three Pakistanis perished in a boat tragedy in Libya. According to the worldwide news agency, three Pakistanis perished in another boat disaster of immigrants attempting to reach Europe with hopes of a prosperous future. A catastrophe also happened on February 26 in the Libyan city of Benghazi. In a tweet, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, Foreign Office Spokesman, acknowledged the deaths of three Pakistanis in this tragedy. She stated that the Pakistani Embassy is arranging for the deceased's repatriation to Pakistan. According to the spokesman Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, a Pakistani immigrant, was recovered alive. He went on to say that this disaster was not like the one in Italy.

It should be noted that on Sunday, an immigrant boat in Italy was sunk after hitting sea rocks. So far, the bodies of 64 persons, including four Pakistanis and 14 children, have been retrieved from the water. Lt. Col. Alberto Lepolis, the head of the Italian police force, stated that despite the bad weather, a Turkish and two Pakistani nationals sailed the boat from Turkey to Italy. According to the authorities, more than 80 individuals were recovered alive in this tragedy, and one Turkish and two Pakistani citizens boarded the boat for $8,485.
