One million Pakistanis left the Country in 1 year, Report

Newstoday: In only one year, the number of Pakistanis traveling overseas has surged by 300%. Previously, an average of 2 to 250,000 Pakistanis traveled abroad each year; currently, this figure has risen to 1 million. According to the figures, the number of Pakistanis traveling overseas has surged by 300% in only one year. In this respect, former senator of Pakistan People's Party Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar stated to the private TV station that until last year, an average of 2 to 2.5 lakh Pakistanis traveled overseas in the nation, but this year, the figure has grown to 1 million. The country's situation has deteriorated to the point that the greatest brains in the country are fleeing. In this regard, millions of young people anxious about the uncertain economic and political climate, inflation, and unemployment fled across the water. By December last year, 765,000 youths had left Pakistan for employment, while thousands more Pakistanis went abroad in the first 4 months of this year. Doctors, engineers, IT specialists, accountants, associate engineers, teachers, and nurses are among those who went abroad, more than 92 thousand highly educated people also settled overseas.
